Job summary

Lap of Love is seeking a Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian to serve San Mateo, CA and surrounding areas. You’ll practice compassionate hospice and euthanasia care in clients’ homes, embracing the company’s mission to support families during difficult moments.

The role emphasizes flexibility, balance, mentorship, and a collaborative culture, with ongoing training and a nationwide network of veterinarians to lean on for guidance.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Weekend availability to work some weekends.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance; background and motor vehicle record check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in a mobile in-home setting.
• Operate as a mobile veterinarian delivering compassionate care.
• Maintain professional conduct and documentation while coordinating with families and support staff.
