Job Summary:

The Fleet Supervisor oversees the maintenance, compliance, and efficient operation of a company’s vehicle fleet. This role ensures all vehicles and equipment are safe, properly maintained, and utilized cost-effectively while supervising drivers and coordinating with vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fleet Maintenance & Operations

• Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections for all fleet vehicles (cars, trucks etc.).
• Monitor fuel usage, mileage, and maintenance costs to optimize efficiency.
• Coordinate with mechanics, service providers, and parts suppliers to minimize downtime.

2. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure fleet compliance with DOT, OSHA, LTFRB, and state/federal regulations.
• Maintain accurate vehicle records (registrations, inspections, insurance, and licenses).
• Conduct driver safety training and enforce company policies.

3. Budget & Reporting

• Track fleet expenses and assist in budget preparation.
• Generate reports on fuel consumption, repair costs, and fleet utilization.
• Recommend cost-saving measures (e.g., fuel-efficient vehicles, telematics).

4. Technology & Upgrades

• Utilize fleet management software (GPS, maintenance tracking systems).
• Evaluate new vehicles/equipment for procurement or leasing.

Education & Experience:
