Job summary

J&T Cargo Philippines is seeking a Fleet Operations Supervisor to oversee daily fleet operations, monitor vehicle utilization, and coordinate driver scheduling to ensure efficient transportation services.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1–3 years in fleet or logistics supervision, with strong communication and problem-solving skills to manage incidents and drive productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation, business administration, engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years in fleet, logistics, transportation, or operations supervision.
• Strong knowledge of fleet management and vehicle maintenance processes.
• Experience handling accident claims, repairs, and vehicle coordination is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fleet operations and ensure vehicles are operating efficiently.
• Monitor vehicle utilization, dispatching, and driver scheduling.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and repairs are conducted on time.
• Handle vehicle-related incidents, accident reports, and insurance coordination.
• Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and operational costs.
• Ensure drivers comply with company policies, road safety regulations, and procedures.
• Coordinate with suppliers, repair shops, and external service providers.
• Maintain accurate fleet records, maintenance logs, and reports.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
• Address operational issues and provide immediate solutions to minimize downtime.
• Monitor driver performance, attendance, and behavior.
• Assist in improving fleet efficiency and productivity.

• Strong communication and coordination abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and report preparation
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operations simultaneously
• Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and fleet monitoring tools is a plus
• Willing to do field work and flexible with schedules when needed
