Job summary

AboitizPower in Davao City seeks an Entry Level Fleet Service Advisor to coordinate vehicle repairs and preventive maintenance with internal departments. You will prepare work orders, monitor completion, and ensure high quality in contractor repairs while updating maintenance records and reporting monthly statistics.

The role requires a recognized engineering/automotive degree, at least 3 years in vehicle maintenance, and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/automotive field required.
• Minimum 3 years in vehicle shop and maintenance operations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vehicle repairs and preventive maintenance with user departments.

• Drive and operate light to heavy equipment when needed.

Responsible in meeting or exceeding section targets and metrics by coordinating all vehicle repairs and preventive maintenance schedules and activities; preparing, dispatching and monitoring of completion of work orders & conducting QA/QC for all vehicle & equipment repairs.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Operations & Quality Control:

• Coordinate all vehicle repairs and preventive maintenance schedules and activities directly with user departments .

• Assess all requests for vehicle repairs and maintenance, accurately evaluating the extent of work required or parts damaged .

• Prepare and dispatch Work Orders for implementation, and subsequently complete and validate them for billing .

• Check the quality of contractors’ work to ensure that all tasks are carried out correctly and conform strictly to assigned job orders .

• Drive and operate light & medium vehicles, as well as heavy equipment when necessary .
• Update records of vehicle repairs and maintenance history for monthly statistics reporting .
• Monitor stocks of operational materials, check with Materials Management for delivery timelines, and recommend requirements for materials and equipment needed to perform the role .
• Plan the efficient use of resources and develop effectively allocated schedules to achieve the section's programs and output .

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

• Education: College Graduate, preferably with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, BS in Industrial Technology - Automotive, or completed related technical courses .

• Experience: At least three (3) years of professional experience in a vehicle shop and maintenance operations .

Technical / Functional Skills:

• Electrical Safety: Strong knowledge of basic electrical safety protocols within a workplace setting .

• Hazardous Materials Handling: Practical proficiency in the safe use, management, and disposal of hazardous chemicals and materials .
