Job summary

Batangas Bay Towage Inc. seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead the end‑to‑end operations of its Batangas fleet of 4 ASD tug vessels. You will report to the General Manager and drive safety, compliance and operational excellence while maintaining strong client and port authority relationships.

You will supervise senior crews and coordinate with the Technical Superintendent, with a focus on cost control, maintenance planning and continuous improvement across the fleet.

Qualifications

• Valid Master Mariner Certificate of Competency required.
• Fluency in English; excellent communication needed.
• Experience managing harbour towage operations and ASD propulsion units.
• Strong financial management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end operations for the Batangas fleet of 4 ASD tugs.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
• Lead Captains and Chief Engineers; oversee crew manning and training.
• Manage budgets, docking, surveys, and maintenance.
• Maintain client and port authority relationships.
• Provide daily/weekly operational reporting to General Manager.
• Promote OVMSA standards with BBTI and Svitzer.
