A global leading towage operator is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee port operations in Batangas. The ideal candidate will manage a fleet of ASD tug vessels and ensure safety compliance, operational excellence, and strong client relationships. Successful candidates will have a Master Mariner Certificate and significant marine service operations experience. This hands-on role involves direct supervision of crew and operational management, ensuring the highest standards of service and safety in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management is an advantage.
• Detailed knowledge of applicable classification, flag state, and port authority requirements.
• Sound financial management knowledge and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily management of operations and support of the fleet.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and operational excellence.
• Directly supervise the Captains and Chief Engineers.

Skills

Operational experience in harbour towage operations

Fluency in written and oral English

Excellent organization and time management skills

Effective stakeholder management skills

Strong understanding of change management

Education

Valid Master Mariner Certificate of Competency (CoC)

Tertiary qualifications in relevant business or marine management
