Job summary

Universal Robina Corporation Sugar and Renewables BALAYAN is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the operation, maintenance, and management of the Plant's vehicle fleet. You will supervise daily activities, coordinate repairs, and ensure safety compliance to keep the fleet reliable and supporting plant needs.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or vocational certification in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in automotive maintenance and repair, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing fleet operations and maintenance.
• Knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to safety regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Fleet Operations Management, including vehicle usage, scheduling, and prioritizing repairs and maintenance.
• Develop and supervise maintenance strategies for mechanical equipment, including preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs and schedule preventive and corrective actions.
• Manage inventory levels for spare parts and supplies, coordinating with Procurement for sourcing.
• Ensure all vehicles and operations comply with safety regulations and company policies; conduct safety audits.
• Supervise and mentor a team of automotive technicians and support staff; provide training and development.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, repair activities, and vehicle performance metrics; prepare reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve fleet reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize costs.
