Job summary

Excelitas Technologies Philippines, Inc. invites applications for a Fixed Assets Accountant to join our Manila operations. You will work with the fixed assets team to ensure accurate accounting and timely reporting across entities, supporting CAPEX activities and asset disposition.

Responsibility includes managing depreciation, asset transfers, and PPA adjustments under US GAAP and Local GAAP, with proficiency in SAP ECC6 FA and Excel to optimize processes and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree/ Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.
• At least 5 years experience in Fixed Assets in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with SAP FA module (ECC6) is required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS for fixed assets.
• Proficiency in Excel and other automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Records assets based on approved CAPEX investments budget, in proper cost center, proper assets clarification.
• Adjustments on Purchase Price Allocation are aligned with the US GAAP push-down entries.
• Depreciation is recorded consistently (US GAAP and Local GAAP).
• Fixed assets transfers are supported and recorded correctly and timely (US GAAP and Local GAAP).

Our facility in Manila, Philippines has been operating since 1996 with key functions inDesign and Development, Engineering, Manufacturing and other disciplines. This site specializes in product design, process development and mass production of Photodiodes, Photodiode Arrays and High-Performance Sensors. These product technologies are primarily for LiDAR applications such as autonomous vehicles and range finding, as well as safety and security applications including smoke detection and luggage scanning.

We are presently seeking for a Fixed Assets Accountant who work with the fixed assets team to ensure proper accounting of fixed assets in Manila, Japan, China consistent with Corporate Accounting Policy.

Main Responsibilities:

• Records assets based on approved CAPEX investments budget, in proper cost center, proper assets clarification.
• Adjustments on Purchase Price Allocation are aligned with the US GAAP push-down entries.
• Depreciation is recorded consistently (US GAAP and Local GAAP).
• Fixed assets transfers are supported and recorded correctly and timely (US GAAP and Local GAAP).

Requirements:

• Degree/ Diploma in Accountancy and/ or its equivalent.
• At least 5 years experience in Fixed assets(FA) in a manufacturing environment
• SAP (ECC6) for FA module is a must.
• Excellent grasp of Fixed Assets (Property Plant and Equipment) Accounting both for US GAAP and IFRS
• Proficiency in Excel and other automation program
• Excellent communication skills for cross functional business partnership.
• Organized, resourceful, self starter, collaborative and with sense of urgency.
