About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate First Aider to join our Company. This role is based in Makati City, Metro Manila and is fundamental to our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment across all our construction and building systems projects. As First Aider, you will be the frontline responder in medical emergencies, providing immediate care and support to employees and site visitors whilst ensuring all health and safety protocols are upheld in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Responding promptly to medical emergencies and accident incidents on sites and company premises




• Providing immediate first aid treatment to injured or unwell individuals, utilizing appropriate medical equipment and techniques




• Assessing the severity of injuries and determining the appropriate level of medical intervention required




• Contacting emergency services when necessary and liaising with medical professionals to ensure continuity of care




• Maintaining accurate records of all incidents, injuries and first aid treatments administered




• Ensuring first aid kits, equipment and supplies are regularly checked, restocked and maintained to operational standards




• Conducting regular first aid awareness sessions and training refreshers for site personnel




• Collaborating with the Health, Safety and Environment team to identify hazards and implement preventative measures




• Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and company policies at all times




• Supporting investigations into accidents and incidents to help prevent future occurrences

What we're looking for

• Current and valid First Aid certification from a recognized training provider, such as the Philippine Red Cross or equivalent accredited organization




• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices within the construction industry




• Strong communication skills with the ability to remain calm and composed during emergency situations




• Physical fitness and ability to respond quickly to emergencies across varying site conditions




• Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail in record-keeping and documentation




• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team




• Commitment to promoting a safety-conscious culture and continuous improvement




• Previous experience in first aid provision within construction or similar high-risk industries is highly desirable




• CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification is preferred
