Job summary

Etrading Software in Manila is seeking a Platform Engineer to join our fintech platform team. You will own automation, performance, reliability, and scalability for critical investment banking applications, ensuring robust operations and rapid evolution.

You will design and build scalable infrastructure, streamline deployments, automate provisioning, and maintain uptime with proactive monitoring. Banking domain experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of DevOps/Platform Engineering experience.
• Strong mastery of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
• Experience with cloud services; AWS preferred.
• Hands-on with CI/CD and pipelines defined in code.
• Software development or scripting background with deployment automation.
• Networking knowledge and configuration management tooling experience.
• Security-conscious with cryptographic and secrets management basics.
• Ability to learn internal coding languages and understand business logic.
• Availability for on-call support for production issues.

Responsibilities

• Design and build infrastructure to support growth for financial applications.
• Design and deploy systems to streamline deployment of new software.
• Automate server provisioning to reduce manual work.
• Maintain system uptime, availability, and health monitoring.
• Manage production incidents and root-cause analysis.
• Deploy platform changes and upgrades on weekends for major releases.
• Requisition new infrastructure as volumes grow and test resiliency.
