Job summary

Coins is seeking an experienced legal professional to provide counsel on financing, lending, and securitization within a regulated fintech environment in the Philippines. You will draft and negotiate complex credit facilities, security documents, and intercreditor arrangements while ensuring regulatory compliance across BSP, SEC, and consumer protection regimes.

The role involves advising on OLP design, coordinating with product and risk teams, and supporting regulatory engagements.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years post-qualification experience in banking and finance.
• Experience with SEC lending and financing frameworks, BSP regulations.
• Drafting and negotiating finance documentation independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear and actionable counsel on financing, lending, and securitization.
• Draft, review, and negotiate facility and loan agreements and related docs.
• Advise on securitization, true sale, and bankruptcy remoteness analyses.
• Navigate regulatory perimeter for lending and financing activities.
• Support product, credit, and risk teams on OLP design and disclosures.
• Handle regulatory engagements and prepare responses to regulators.
• Collaborate in a multi-jurisdiction international legal team.
