Job summary

Alter Domus is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join our team in a dynamic, high-growth environment. You will provide Level 1-2 support, perform SQL-based diagnostics, and collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

The role includes on-call duties for weekend incidents and a focus on continuous improvement of operational processes while maintaining security standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in supporting software applications (finance preferred).
• SQL queries against relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide level 1 & 2 support with triage and resolution.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, escalate when needed.
• Write and run SQL queries to diagnose issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams.
• Occasionally participate in on-call weekend rotations.
• Monitor logs and performance bottlenecks to ensure stability.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
