Job summary

Orbital Group is seeking a Financial Operations Analyst in the Philippines to reconcile client and operations accounts across crypto and fiat daily, safeguarding funds and understanding liquidity. You will track fund movements, validate revenues, and collaborate with finance, operations, and tech teams to support FinOps processes.

The role requires hands-on reconciliation experience, accounting knowledge, blockchain familiarity, and strong data skills with Excel and Metabase.

Qualifications

• BS degree in accounting or finance.
• 2–3 years in accounting or financial operations.
• Solid understanding of accounting and reconciliation.
• Experience with cross-functional reconciliations and root-cause analysis.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of blockchain transactions and digital assets.
• Proficient with Excel: XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables.
• Familiar with Metabase for dashboards and data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and process daily client- and operational-account reconciliations across crypto and fiat.
• Provide daily consolidated cash balances for liquidity management.
• Reconcile revenue before sweeping profits.
• Maintain records of reconciliation issues and actions.
• Validate internal financials against supporting records.
• Understand fund flows and their impact on reconciliations.
• Ensure documentation is up-to-date.
• Support change management for new finance processes.
• Identify and communicate issues with crypto providers.
• Champion process improvements for efficiency and transparency.
• Compile ad-hoc financial information for leadership.
• Assist with audits.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls.
