Job summary

The Lind Hotels is expanding its footprint to Siargao and seeks a highly meticulous, licensed Finishing Architect to oversee the final aesthetic phases of the resort.

You will lead on-site finishing works for premium paint, flooring, cabinetry, millwork, and fixtures, conduct daily quality-control inspections, and coordinate specialized subcontractors to meet the master project timeline. Proficiency in AutoCAD/SketchUp and strong leadership are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee finishing works for paint, flooring, cabinetry, millwork and fixtures with premium precision.

• Identify and resolve aesthetic/functional alignment issues on-site.
• Maintain logs and as-built drawings; annotate details using AutoCAD/SketchUp.
• Manage punch list until handover of all spaces.
• Monitor handling of high-value finishing materials to minimize waste.

Overview:

The Lind Hotels is expanding its footprint to Siargao. We are seeking a highly meticulous, licensed Finishing Architect to oversee the final, critical aesthetic phases of the resort.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the design and architectural teams to ensure paint, flooring, cabinetry, unique millwork, and fixtures are installed with absolute premium precision.
• Conduct rigorous daily inspections to maintain strict quality control, ensuring all finishing works are entirely defect-free and compliant with building codes.
• Lead, coordinate, and organize specialized subcontractors, keeping their daily progress aligned with the master project timeline.
• Proactively identify and resolve complex aesthetic or functional alignment issues during the finishing phase, providing immediate, practical support to site teams.
• Maintain meticulous project reports, logs, and as-built drawings. Utilize AutoCAD and SketchUp effectively to clarify micro-finishing details directly on the field.
• Own the comprehensive "punch list" process, systematically tracking and resolving snags so that every guest room, villa, and public space is handed over in pristine condition.
• Closely monitor the handling, storage, and installation of high-value, high-end finishing materials to minimize waste and enforce exceptional craftsmanship.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Licensed/Registered Architect
• Advanced, expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is essential for clarifying on-site details. Proficient in MS Office for detailed project reporting.
• An exceptional eye for detail with a "perfectionist" approach to symmetry, alignment, texture, and luxury finishes.
• Strong, assertive leadership skills with a proven ability to manage, motivate, and direct diverse teams of skilled tradespeople and specialized contractors.

Availability:

• Must be willing to be fully based in Siargao for the duration of the project.
• Candidates who can start immediately will have a significant advantage.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of 8 to 10 years of dedicated professional experience specifically as a Finishing Architect or Finishing Engineer.
• Project Portfolio: Must have successfully completed the handover of at least five (5) 5-star hotels, luxury resorts, or ultra-high-end residential projects.
• A proven track record of managing complex finishing schedules and safeguarding high-value, delicate materials.
