Job summary

Landers Superstore (Southeastasia Retail Inc.) is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Lead in the Philippines. The role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely financial and regulatory reports, delivering insights for management decisions, and upholding accounting standards.

The candidate will supervise a team, ensure PFRS compliance, and coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies to maintain data integrity and robust reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy and CPA certification are required.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, financial statement preparation, or general accounting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Financial Reporting Specialists to ensure timely schedules and high-quality output.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and other regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and income statement analyses.
• Consolidate key financial highlights for management reviews.
• Prepare and submit financial schedules to auditors, government agencies and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain data integrity and management of all relevant schedules.

Job description

To lead the Financial Reporting team in ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant preparation of financial and regulatory reports, while providing financial insights, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting management's decision-making.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise the Financial Reporting Specialists, ensuring timely completion of schedules and high-quality output.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and other applicable accounting and regulatory requirements of reporting schedules prepared by FR Specialist.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including management reports and income statement analysis.
• Consolidate and summarize key financial highlights and analyses for management's monthly financial statement review.
• Prepare and submit financial schedules and other regulatory or management reports required by external stakeholders, including auditors, government agencies, and other regulatory bodies.
• Responsible to maintain data integrity and management of all relevant schedules.

What We're Looking For

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Educational Attainment: Bachelor’s degree in accountancy

Licensure: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (required)

Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, financial statement preparation, or general accounting.
