Job summary

Goldilocks Bakeshop Inc. in Mandaluyong City, Philippines, is seeking a Financial Consolidation & Reporting professional to lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation and prepare consolidated financial statements.

This onsite role requires strong Excel skills and deep knowledge of consolidation principles. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate intercompany eliminations, currency translations, and compliance with PFRS, while supporting internal and external audits and driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in multi-entity organizations or shared services is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel, is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation process.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
• Ensure accuracy of intercompany eliminations, minority interest, and foreign currency translations.
• Review and validate submissions from subsidiaries for completeness and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and support audits.
• Monitor regulatory developments affecting financial reporting.
• Drive automation and process improvements in consolidation & reporting tools.
• Maintain chart of accounts, consolidation mapping, and reporting hierarchies.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliation processes and governance controls.
• Collaborate with finance teams across entities and provide timely insights to senior management.

Financial Consolidation & Reporting

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation process
• Prepare consolidated financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow)
• Ensure accuracy of intercompany eliminations, minority interest, and foreign currency translations
• Review and validate submissions from subsidiaries for completeness and compliance

Compliance & Technical Accounting

• Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS)
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex and non-routine transactions
• Support internal and external audit requirements related to group reporting
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess impact on financial reporting

Systems & Process Improvement

• Manage and optimize consolidation and reporting tools (MS Excel)
• Drive automation initiatives and continuous process improvements
• Maintain chart of accounts, consolidation mapping, and reporting hierarchies

Intercompany & Reconciliation Management

• Oversee intercompany reconciliation processes across entities
• Ensure timely resolution of differences and elimination of intercompany balances
• Strengthen governance controls over intercompany activities

Stakeholder Management & Business Support

• Collaborate with finance teams across all entities
• Provide timely financial insights and analysis to senior management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent preferred

• Experience in multi-entity organizations or shared services environment
• Strong proficiency in MS Office tools (particularly Excel)
• Willing to work in Mandaluyong City (Fully Onsite)
