Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager in Libis, Quezon City for a hybrid night-shift role. You will lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, prepare financial statements under U.S. GAAP, and drive M&A-related accounting workstreams.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of accounting experience, CPA-leaning credentials, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel/ERP skills, with the ability to supervise staff and coordinate external audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA or equivalent strongly preferred).
• At least 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including close, financial reporting, and supervisory/review responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multi-entity consolidations.
• Advanced Excel and ERP system skills, with excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Ability to work in a night shift setting to maintain overlap with U.S. Eastern Time.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including consolidations, close calendars, and account reviews.
• Prepare and review financial statements, board/investor schedules, cash-flow reporting, and variance explanations under U.S. GAAP.
• Drive finance workstreams for M&A integrations, including purchase accounting and open balance sheets.
• Coordinate external audit, tax, lender, insurance, and due-diligence requests to ensure full documentation compliance.
• Supervise and develop accounting personnel, establishing clear performance expectations and internal controls.

Your Role

As a Financial Reporting Manager, you will:

• Lead and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including consolidations, close calendars, and account reviews.
• Prepare and review financial statements, board/investor schedules, cash-flow reporting, and variance explanations under U.S. GAAP.
• Drive finance workstreams for M&A integrations, including purchase accounting, opening balance sheets, and process migrations.
• Coordinate external audit, tax, lender, insurance, and due-diligence requests to ensure full documentation compliance.
• Supervise and develop accounting personnel, establishing clear performance expectations and maintaining internal control segregation.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA or equivalent strongly preferred)
• At least 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including close, financial reporting, and supervisory/review responsibility
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multi-entity consolidations
• Advanced Excel and ERP system skills, with excellent written and spoken English communication
• Ability to work in a night shift setting to maintain meaningful overlap with U.S. Eastern Time

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Experience with NetSuite ERP platform
• Prior exposure to Private Equity portfolio companies, multi-site operations, or shared-service accounting organizations
• Hands-on experience in M&A accounting, purchase accounting, and post-close financial integrations
• Background in infrastructure, environmental services, healthcare, logistics, or waste management sectors
• Proven track record in driving financial automation, standardization, and process scalability
