Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join our finance team onsite in Pasay, working the night shift. You will bring strong technical accounting expertise and mentor junior staff while collaborating across cross-functional teams.

The role requires at least 6 years of experience, GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and experience with international clients. You will support end-to-end reconciliations, financial reporting, month-end close, audits, and budgeting activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• International exposure with US/Canada/Australia clients preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills with formulas, reporting, reconciliations, pivot tables.
• Strong understanding of GAAP or international standards; experience with ERP/Accounting software.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities; mentoring capability.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end reconciliations of revenue and balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and journal entries for revenue recognition, accruals, and adjustments.
• Assist month-end and year-end close with accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors; support internal control improvements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting; perform ad hoc financial analyses and cost analyses.
• Maintain data confidentiality and proper file organization within the Finance Dept.
