Fireworks AI is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to own and scale technical accounting and financial reporting as the business grows rapidly. You will own complex areas—leases, revenue, equity, partnerships, and data-center costs—while building processes, narratives, and controls to support a high-growth AI infrastructure business.

The ideal candidate has 6–10+ years of accounting experience, strong ASC knowledge, and a track record of documenting processes and supporting

Qualifications

• . Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• • Strong technical accounting knowledge and ownership of ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 718.
• • Experience documenting processes with flowcharts, narratives, and control matrices.
• • Experience with external audits and high-quality accounting documentation.
• • Ability to translate complex arrangements into supportable accounting conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
• Own technical accounting research and memo documentation across complex areas (revenue, leases, equity, partnerships, infrastructure).
• Own lease accounting end-to-end under ASC 842 including setup and reconciliations.
• Evaluate infrastructure and compute-related spend and cost-of-revenue activities.
• Build and maintain end-to-end process flowcharts, narratives, and risk matrices for reporting cycles.
