ROLE OVERVIEW
The Financial Reporting Manager will lead the financial reporting, general accounting, and statutory compliance requirements of the Shared Services organization. The role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of financial statements and management reports while strengthening financial controls, governance, and accounting discipline across the organization.
The role will work closely with the Accounting Operations Manager and key business stakeholders to ensure that transactional accounting flows accurately into month-end closing, reporting, compliance, and management decision-making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the preparation and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Own the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring completeness, accuracy, proper cut-off, and timely resolution of reconciling items.
- Oversee general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and other financial reporting activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, statutory requirements, tax regulations, and internal finance policies.
- Maintain strong financial controls and governance to safeguard the integrity and reliability of financial information.
- Partner closely with the Accounting Operations Manager to ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisers, and other external parties in support of statutory audits, tax filings, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide meaningful financial analysis and reporting to support management decisions and business performance reviews.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve reporting processes, closing timelines, controls, standardization, and automation across Shared Services.
- Work effectively with Finance and business stakeholders across multiple entities as ENTECH continues to grow regionally.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong background in Financial Reporting, General Accounting, and statutory compliance, preferably within a Shared Services or multi-entity environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation, month-end closing, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Experience working with external auditors and managing statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to identify issues, understand their financial impact, and drive timely resolution.
- Process-oriented, with the ability to strengthen controls and improve the efficiency and quality of financial reporting processes.
- Able to operate effectively in a growing and evolving organization.
- Stable under pressure, with exceptional communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; CPA is strongly preferred.
