Job summary

Filinvest Business Services Corporation seeks a Financial Reporting Associate to assist in recording financial transactions and maintaining books. The role supports analysis of financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis, while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulations.

The incumbent contributes to process improvements and efficiency initiatives to support the company’s financial goals with proper documentation and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• BS Accountancy graduate with at least 2 years' accounting experience.
• Proficiency in worksheet/spreadsheet programs, especially Advance Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain computerized accounting system and prepare GL/ISchedules.
• Review journal entries before they are encoded in the system.
• Ensure government reports and intercompany charges are submitted and paid.
• Monitor project costs and ensure expenditures are properly recorded.
• Prepare cash receipts and disbursements, and monitor cash advances.
• Maintain confidentiality and keep accounting office secure.
