About the role
We are a US-based family office seeking a Financial Analyst to support our investment team's research, modeling, and reporting functions. This is a full-time, dedicated role supporting a small, high-trust investment team — you'll work directly with US-based principals on live investment analysis, not routine back-office processing.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models (DCF, comparable company, LBO-style, and custom models as needed) to support investment evaluation and portfolio monitoring
- Conduct investment research — company, industry, and market analysis — to inform investment decisions
- Support due diligence reviews, including data room review and organization, document analysis, and diligence tracker maintenance
- Draft and contribute to investment memos and committee materials, synthesizing research and modeling into clear, decision-ready writeups
- Prepare periodic investment reporting and portfolio performance summaries for the family office
- Monitor relevant markets, sectors, and macro trends and flag developments relevant to current or prospective holdings
- Collaborate directly with US-based principals and, as needed, with external advisors, auditors, or counterparties
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in investment management, asset/wealth management, fund services, equity research, or financial analysis
- Hands-on experience in financial modeling, investment research, and due diligence
- Experience supporting U.S.-based companies, clients, principals, or investment teams
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling, including DCF, comparable company, LBO-style, and custom models
- Strong investment research, company analysis, industry analysis, and market-research capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and financial-data integrity
- Ability to work independently in a high-trust, high-autonomy environment
- Ability to maintain required overlap with U.S. business hours
