Job summary

Manulife in Quezon City is seeking a Financial Analyst to conduct moderately complex financial analyses, prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist in month-end close and regulatory reporting. The role also supports internal and external audits and tax/reporting tasks.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and 2–4 years' experience, with night-shift availability and a hybrid 3x onsite work arrangement in Quezon City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
• Willing to work night shifts and hybrid setup (3x onsite in Quezon City).
• Knowledge of CGAAP, US GAAP, and NAIC accounting bases.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and Essbase add-in; familiarity with Lawson and JETS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced accounting activities, including creating standard and non-standard journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts.
• Analyze financial results and provide commentary on areas of focus.
• Assist with audits and annual financial statements preparation.
• Support regulatory filings, footnotes, and tax reporting.
• Mentor junior staff and share best practices in accounting processes.
