Job summary

Management Reporting Team and play a key role in delivering financial insights that support strategic decision-making across multiple markets in Asia. This is an exciting opportunity to work with regional finance leaders, gain exposure to cross-functional stakeholders, and contribute to the evolution of financial reporting under IFRS 17. If you're passionate about data analysis, process improvement, and transforming financial information into meaningful business insights, this role will provide valuable regional exposure and opportunities for career growth. You'll also have the chance to champion automation initiatives and enhance reporting processes that drive efficiency and business impact.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare, analyze, and provide insightful commentary on monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports for key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Consolidate and analyze financial and non-financial data from various Asia markets to identify trends, variances, and business performance drivers.
• Partner with Regional Controllers, Finance teams, Actuarial teams, and other stakeholders to support accurate and timely reporting deliverables.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance standard and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and reporting templates using tools such as Anaplan, Power BI, and SmartView.
• Drive continuous process improvement and automation initiatives to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and overall user experience.
• Support month-end and quarter-end reporting activities while ensuring timely communication of key updates and issues.
• Perform peer reviews, maintain documentation, and provide guidance and training to junior team members as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in financial reporting, management reporting, or finance-related functions.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different markets and cultures.
• Willing to work on a Day Shift schedule and report onsite in Diliman, Quezon City.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional accounting designation (CPA is an advantage but not required).
• Experience in the life insurance or financial services industry.
• Knowledge of IFRS 17 reporting requirements.
• Experience with reporting and financial systems such as Hyperion Essbase, SmartView, Anaplan, or Power BI.
• Background in process improvement, automation, or dashboard development.
• Experience mentoring, reviewing work, or providing guidance to team members.
