Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a proactive Financial Accountant to join our global finance team in the Manila area. You will manage monthly reporting, assist with audits, and ensure timely regulatory filings while supporting integration projects and continuous improvements within finance.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience in a similar role.
• Experience in a global finance environment; UK exposure is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, audit processes.

Job Description

THIS ROLE

As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely completion of monthly and other financial reporting requirements, including month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and supporting the year-end audit as the primary point of contact. The role also involves contributing to various reporting, project, and ad hoc finance activities. We are seeking a proactive, hands-on professional with a positive, can-do attitude who can help drive continuous improvement within the finance function and adapt to a dynamic environment with diverse responsibilities.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU

• At least 3 years of accounting experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
• Experience working in a global finance environment, with exposure to UK companies considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, best practices, and external audit processes.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality results.
• Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to present findings to senior stakeholders and work effectively both independently and within a team.
