Job summary

MA Financial Group in Manila—Taguig is seeking a Financial Accountant to support the finance function. You will contribute to month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, and fund and legal entity accounting, while collaborating with onshore and offshore teams.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in finance or accounting, strong Excel skills, and CPA/CA or equivalent is preferred. This role offers exposure to international processes and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ finance or accounting experience, preferably in fund or asset management.
• Experience working with international finance teams or in a BPO servicing global clients.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• CPA, CA, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close, journals, reconciliations.
• Fund and investor-level cash, revenue, and receivables processes.
• Preparation of divisional P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and schedules.
• Legal entity accounting and support for half-year and year-end reporting.
• Ad-hoc analysis and support for business and finance stakeholders.
• Maintain process documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.

About the Role
