Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a Financial Accountant to ensure timely monthly and other financial reporting, including month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations. You will be the primary contact for the year-end audit and help drive improvements within a dynamic global finance team.

The role requires hands-on accounting experience in a global environment, strong Excel skills, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across functions.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of accounting experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
• Experience working in a global finance environment, with exposure to UK companies considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, best practices, and external audit processes.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality results.
• Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to present findings to senior stakeholders and work effectively both independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

THIS ROLE

As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely completion of monthly and other financial reporting requirements, including month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and supporting the year-end audit as the primary point of contact. The role also involves contributing to various reporting, project, and ad hoc finance activities. We are seeking a proactive, hands-on professional with a positive, can-do attitude who can help drive continuous improvement within the finance function and adapt to a dynamic environment with diverse responsibilities.
