eClerx LLC is seeking an Accounting and Finance Team Lead to oversee day-to-day accounting operations in our Manila area. You will supervise a team of accountants, coach staff, and ensure timely posting of GL entries along with accounts payable/receivable management.

The role requires strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, with experience in month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting for audits and taxes. Effective communication and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred with 7–10 years of experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a BPO/Shared service setup preferred.
• Knowledgeable with IFRS and US GAAP.
• Experience in handling or managing people.
• Experience in Month End Close, reconciliations, and audit/tax reporting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Supervise a team of accountants.
• Coach team members and improve performance.
• Post General Ledger entries.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Receivables daily/weekly.
• Review and post accruals for each period.
• Lead balance sheet reconciliations and update Excel.
• Verify accounts for month-end close.
• Generate monthly financial statements and tax/audit reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager of Finance and Accounting.
