Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls in the Philippines. This hands-on management role will ensure timely financial reporting, a disciplined month-end close, and full Philippine tax compliance.

You will directly supervise a Tax Associate, review tax filings, manage BIR examinations, and provide guidance on tax implications of business transactions while coordinating with regional Finance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA qualification strongly preferred.
• At least five years of relevant accounting and Philippine taxation experience, with supervisory exposure.
• Experience in a commercial or corporate environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, BIR regulations, and financial reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, schedules, and financial statements.
• Oversee Philippine tax compliance, filings, and audits.
• Supervise and coach the finance team, including the Tax Associate.
• Collaborate with Ops, Commercial, Procurement, Legal, and Payroll on financial matters.
