Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines is seeking an Accounting Executive to ensure accurate financial record-keeping, handle invoicing and payments, client billing, and reconciliations. You will support day-to-day operations and contribute to timely financial reporting.

The role requires a degree in accounting or related fields, strong English communication, and solid accounting knowledge. A hybrid setup is offered with both remote and on-site work options.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Administrator or in a similar finance/accounting role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to prioritize, work flexibly, and maintain accuracy.
• Proactive and hands-on approach with a problem-solving mindset.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with accounting/ERP software (e.g., Dynamics 365 Business Central) is advantageous.
• A qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• General Accounting tasks and data entry.
• Record and maintain financial transactions using Navision One (N1).
• Post journal entries to ensure accurate recording of transactions.
• Maintain organized filing for financial records.
• Update client and vendor information in N1.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations per policy.
• Review P&L accounts for mispostings and correct GL codes.
• Reconcile intercompany balances with counterparties.
• Check accruals and provisions and post adjustments.
• Review and post supplier invoices and process payments.
• Apply payments and credit notes to supplier accounts.
• Reconcile Aged Payables vs GL balances and investigate discrepancies.
• Generate and post client sales invoices; verify accuracy.
• Process receipts and apply payments to client accounts.
• Maintain Aged Debtors Report and investigate overdue balances.
• Propose bad debt provisions with approval from HOF/CFO.
• Post payroll-related transactions and accruals.
• Process expense claims using Expensify for timely reimbursement.
• Assist with monthly/quarterly/year-end reports and tax compliance.
• Support audits with required documents and data.
• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned.
