Job summary

Intelligent Technical Solutions is hiring a Finance Admin Assistant to ensure compliance and smooth finance operations. You will handle multi-state sales tax, commissions, accounts payable, licenses, and filings, with emphasis on accuracy and independent research.

The role requires a degree in accounting/finance, 1–2 years in accounting/compliance, strong Excel, and excellent English communication. A remote full-time position with flexible infrastructure is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years accounting, tax or compliance experience required; US sales tax experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail due to compliance work.
• Strong research skills to interpret state tax rules independently.
• Motivated self-starter who seeks process improvements.
• Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations).
• Clear written and verbal English communication skills.
• Reliable high-speed internet required.
• Dual-monitor workstation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, file and pay sales tax returns across multiple states and local jurisdictions.
• Research nexus, registration, rates and product taxability; set up tax codes in ConnectWise.
• Support use tax, B&O tax and personal property tax compliance.
• Process monthly commissions for various teams and partners.
• Support accounts payable processing in Sage Intacct.
• Maintain business licenses and entity filings through CSC portal.
• Track leases, insurance, COI requests and renewal deadlines.
• Operate the Finance Admin service board and resolve tickets.
• Keep trackers, filing calendar and guides up to date.
• Proactively find work and suggest process improvements.
