Job summary

Intelligent Technical Solutions is seeking a Finance Admin Assistant to ensure compliant finance administration across multi-state sales tax, AP, licenses, and filings. You will independently research tax rules and manage accurate documentation while supporting commissions and vendor processes.

The role emphasizes accuracy, initiative, and continuous process improvement, with a remote work setup and a 40-hour workweek aligned to PST business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 1-2 years of accounting, tax or compliance experience.
• US sales tax experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail required for compliance work.
• Strong research skills to interpret state tax rules.
• Clear written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, file and pay sales tax returns across multiple states and local jurisdictions.
• Research nexus, registration, rates and product taxability for new nexus.
• Support use tax, B&O tax and personal property tax compliance.
• Process monthly commissions for various teams and partners.
• Support accounts payable processing in Sage Intacct.
• Maintain business licenses and entity documentation through CSC portal.
• Track leases, insurance, COIs and renewal deadlines.
• Triage and resolve tickets on Finance Admin service board.
• Keep filing trackers and guides up to date.
• Identify process improvements for Finance Admin tasks.
