Job summary

The Finance Supervisor (With Tax Compliance Exp) at 5 ELK in Cebu City, Philippines, leads payroll and financial recordkeeping to ensure accuracy and compliance with PH tax rules. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related business field.
• At least 3 years of finance or accounting experience.
• Solid knowledge of financial procedures and government regulations, especially tax.
• Experience using accounting software is a strong advantage.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare payroll summaries and journal entries for management review.
• Supervise payroll disbursement to ensure accuracy.
• Provide guidance to junior finance staff to maintain payroll accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor statutory deadlines and ensure timely filings and documentation.
• Manage month-end close and coordinate with finance team to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain audit‑ready financial records and supporting documentation.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
• Assist in tax audits and government reporting requirements (BIR, PEZA, SEC).
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
