Job summary

Steag State Power Inc. is seeking a Finance Supervisor to oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. The role provides insights, variance analysis, and cash forecasts to support business planning and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities include ensuring tax compliance, statutory reporting, treasury support, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders on regulatory submissions. A CPA and CPAs with 5+ years in finance or audit are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy is required.
• CPA license is required.
• 5+ years experience in finance, accounting or audit.
• Strong knowledge of FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis.
• Knowledge of PFRS and taxation.

About the role

The Finance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the organization's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, financial analysis, accounting, tax compliance, treasury support, and statutory reporting to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial information. The role provides financial insights, variance analysis, cash forecasts, and management reports to support business planning, operational decisions, and strategic initiatives. It also coordinates with internal and external stakeholders on regulatory submissions, loan covenant compliance, and special Finance and Controlling projects to promote efficient and reliable finance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Manage financial analysis and accounting operations

• Deliver financial insights and variance analysis
• Prepare cash forecasts and management reports
• Support business planning and operational decisions

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
• CPA license is required
• At least five (5) years' work experience in finance, accounting or audit environment
• Strong knowledge of Financial Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Management reporting, and Financial Analysis
• Knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and taxation
• Proficient in SAP and MS Office applications
• Experience or Capability in Statutory, Regulatory and Compliance Reporting such as BOI, ERC, PSA, DOE, Loan Compliance and related submissions
• Able to effectively communicate in oral and written format using English
• Chartered Financial Analyst is a plus
