Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is often preferred.
• At least two (2) years work experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Process Management Expertise: In-depth understanding of finance processes.
• Cash Application Expertise: Apply incoming payments to customer accounts accurately.
• Billing Knowledge: Generate invoices and manage billing cycles.
• Collection Skills: Proficiency in handling collections and contacting clients for overdue payments.
• Analytical Skills: Analyze financial information independently.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail: Documentation accuracy.
• Organizational Skills: Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Compliance focus: Maintain internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Confidentiality and professionalism: Maintain confidentiality.
• Interpersonal skills: Work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience with accounting software and tools (e.g., Navision) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Acts as SME for a given process and point of contact when supervisor is unavailable.
• Handles complex scenarios such as client account reconciliation and billing history.
• Ensures the accuracy of financial data provided internally and externally.
• Summarizes information to prepare reports and explain financial reports.
• Performs QA/review on processes and facilitates team training.
• Analyzes and resolves issues regarding work in a customer-oriented approach.
• Routes tasks to appropriate processor using internal systems.
• Refer matters beyond authority to supervisor for direction.
• Upholds Crawford Code of Conduct and confidentiality.
• Adheres to SOPs and turnaround time as set by the company.
• Performs administrative duties to support other business processes.
