Job summary

J&T Express in Taguig, Metro Manila is seeking a Tax Accountant to handle monthly, quarterly and annual tax computations and filings. The role requires a background in accounting and strong knowledge of BIR regulations and reporting requirements.

The candidate will prepare and submit documents for BIR audits and coordinate with LGU and other government agencies, ensuring compliance and timely submissions. Experience in logistics or e-commerce is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years relevant work experience in Finance or Accounting or similar field preferred.
• Experience in E-Commerce or Logistics is a plus.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual computation of taxes and returns and the respective attachments including, but not limited to, withholding taxes, VAT, income tax and local business taxes of the Company;
• Prepares and submits letters and documents to the BIR;
• Prepares the documents for submission during BIR audits;
• Liaises to LGU and other government agencies;
• Prepares and submits report to various government agencies; and
• Other tax-related tasks that may be assigned.
