As a Finance Operations Supervisor, you will work with the Finance Operations Head on the day-to-day and operational activities including re-assessment and implementation of procedures and policies related to Sales and receivables monitoring, Cost of goods sold and inventory transactions, Leases monitoring, and Treasury. You will also assist in handling various projects, either initiated locally or regionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable, Collection, Sales Invoicing and Recording
- Prepares the final sales performance report and draft the related sales entries affecting sales performance
- Ensures timely collection and application of accounts receivable through regular follow-ups, coordination with Distributor and monitoring process
- Leads alignment meeting with Trade Distribution team (TD) to discuss any concerns and issues that will affect the release of collection from trade customers
Pricing
- Updates and ensures the accuracy of the Price Master data used in preparing the sales data to reflect the PDS prices based on approved price memos and prepares monthly price confirmation with the customers
- Prepares and ensures approval and availability of the Staff Shop price per SKU every 5th WD of the month
Inventory Management
- Reviews and posts other Inventory movement transactions included in the SMR provided by Supply Chain
- Maintains records of all Inventory transactions, Prepares Inventory Reports and Inventory Valuation
- Attends monthly inventory alignment with Supply Chain
Fleet Leasing Management
- Liaises with the Bank, 3rd party Fleet Management team, and R2R team for the monthly vehicle related transactions and reconciles against accounting records
- Acts as point person for coordination with employees, 3rd parties and bank leasing company for billing, contract renewal, sale of disposed assets and other lease related concerns
Closing, Statutory & Management Reporting
- Computes and submits the royalty calculations for the month to R2R Team related to the following, after computing the final sales for the period
- Prepares regional & local reports related to month-end closing
- Prepares external and internal reports related to the sales performance for the month
Responsible for account reconciliation and monthly balance sheet review including disposition of reconciling and action items as discussed during reviews
Treasury
- Acts as the point person for corporate credit card inquiries, issuance, temporary increase application and deactivation
- Coordinates with Banks and Regional Treasury to ensure settlement of foreign currency denominated transactions
Internal and External Audit
- Participates in interim and year-end audit by preparing all audit schedules required by the external and internal auditor
Qualifications
- Accounting graduate, CPA an advantage
- Organized and highly analytical
- Keen to details and can multitask
- Skilled in computer applications – MS office/Windows, particularly MS Excel
