Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Finance Operations professional in the Philippines to own end-to-end reconciliation across bank, payment gateway, and internal systems, and to develop new processes as the business expands. You will coordinate WHT and e-Tax matters with Finance, support collections with cross-functional teams, and handle PR/PO workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in Finance Operations, Accounting, Reconciliation, or Shared Services.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills with data validation and reporting experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage recurring deadlines accurately.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with large transactional datasets.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with ERP, procurement, or payment systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end reconciliation across bank, payment gateway, and internal systems.
• Develop new reconciliation processes for growing scope (e.g., buyer payments to merchant withdrawals, refunds handling).
• Coordinate withholding tax (WHT) and e-Tax matters with Regional/local Finance, ensuring accurate application and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Support money collection processes with Business Development and Regional Finance on outstanding items.
• Raise and manage Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs).
• Adjust wallet balances for merchants and delivery partners against source transaction data.
• Prepare recurring administrative reports and management trackers to support business monitoring and decision-making.
• Support month-end and period-end closing activities through data validation and reconciliation.
• Investigate payment, billing, and reconciliation issues, providing timely resolution and recommendations.
• Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of finance operations.
