KNC Group of Companies is a franchisee of Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) and is looking for a Finance Operations Controller who will be responsible for management and oversight of the Finance Operations of KNC Group of Companies which includes Accounts Payable, Account Receivables, Daily Sales Reporting, and Treasury functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Management of Finance Operations Group
Finance Operations Management: Lead and oversee the Finance Operations Group (FOG) – including the end-to-end processes, all related tasks and responsibilities within Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Daily Sales Reporting (DSR) functions, and timely and agile resolution of all finance operations issues on a regular basis.
People Management and Ways of Working: Ensure that the roles and responsibilities of all members of the FOG are performed in accordance with the Company’s policies and processes or best practices as identified by the Management in a manner aligned with the Company’s Ways of Working.
Financial Control: Ensure that sufficient and appropriate financial and internal controls under FOG are established, implemented, monitored, and continuously improved.
Reporting: Ensure accurate, complete, and timely preparation of financial and management reports related to Finance Operations, including but not limited to, Profit or Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Report.
Risk Mitigation: Mitigate risks involving finance operations, including but not limited to, disbursements, collections, validation of charges and billings, supplier and vendor validation, cost optimization, non-compliance, among others.
Budgeting: Assist in the budgeting process of the Group, coordinate with key stakeholders, and coordinate with Head of Finance and Financial Reporting Manager for consolidation.
Business Partnership and Collaboration: Partner and collaborate with key stakeholders in the performance of Finance and business goals, strategies, and initiatives.
Projects and Other Tasks
Lead in monthly Finance Committee meetings.
Participate in setting finance directions and strategies.
Participate in drafting, review, implementation, and monitoring of accounting, finance, and operations policies and process guidelines.
Lead in various process improvements and driving efficiency and controls in finance functions.
Be one of the Accounting System Champion of the Group.
Other projects and ad hoc tasks that may be assigned by the Management.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred
Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial operations and controller functions
Extensive experience in system design, process improvement, and integration would be a high advantage
Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS/PFRS
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven
