Job Description

As a Finance Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for managing recurring financial reporting, payment processes, and reconciliation activities that support SPX's logistics operations. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial records, timely payouts, and compliance with internal processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and validate recurring billing reports and driver payout reports to support operational and financial processes.
• Perform regular reconciliations across operational and financial datasets, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reporting.
• Raise and manage Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring compliance with internal procurement policies and approval workflows.
• Prepare recurring financial reports, trackers, and management dashboards to support business monitoring and decision‑making.
• Support month‑end and period‑end closing activities through data validation and reconciliation.
• Investigate payment, billing, and reporting issues, providing timely resolution and recommendations.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of finance operations.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and operational projects as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
• 1–3 years of experience in Finance Operations, Accounting, Financial Reporting, Shared Services, or related finance functions.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage recurring processes with a high degree of accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Familiarity with ERP, procurement, or payment systems is a plus.
• Experience in logistics, e‑commerce, or operations‑related finance functions is an advantage but not required.
