You will manage accounts payable/receivable, perform reconciliations, prepare management reports, support audits, and coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulators, contributing to stronger internal controls. This is a full-time role based in the Philippines.
Job Description Summary:
The Finance Officer is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective management of financial resources. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the financial health of the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee and supervise daily finance operations, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Review and verify finance transactions and reports for accuracy and completeness.
Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing, accurate reporting, and effective collections.
Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation and related adjusting journal entries.
Prepare internal financial and management reports as required.
Supervise and assist in the periodic audit of inventory and fixed assets.
Review BIR-related reports and schedules for accuracy and completeness prior to submission.
Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements, including timely BIR filings.
Assist in annual financial statement audits, preparing schedules and providing supporting documents.
Coordinate with external parties such as auditors, banks, and government agencies, as needed.
Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and support implementation of better financial controls.
Perform ad hoc finance tasks and special projects as assigned by the Finance Manager.
