Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in accounting or finance operations.

• CPA license and Australian finance exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a Manila-based finance team, setting standards and building capability.
• Deliver financial reporting, reconciliations, and schedules to AU Finance on time and to standard.
• Support AU Finance with budgeting, forecasting, and EOFY requirements.
• Own month-end and year-end close activities for both Philippine entity and support AU Finance.
• Manage all Philippine statutory compliance including BIR filings, SEC reporting, and remittances.
• Support external auditors and drive process improvements across finance operations.

Why This Role Exists

As our Kitchen Warehouse and our Manila team grows we are looking for a Finance & Accounting Manager to step in, lead the local team and take the function forward.

What You’ll Own

• Lead and develop a Manila-based finance team - setting standards, reviewing outputs, and building capability
• Deliver financial reporting, reconciliations, and supporting schedules to AU Finance on time and to standard
• Support AU Finance with budgeting, forecasting, board pack schedules, and EOFY requirements
• Own month-end and year-end close activities for both the Philippine entity and in support of AU Finance
• Manage all Philippine statutory compliance - BIR filings, SEC reporting (AFS, GIS), and statutory remittances
• Drive audit readiness and serve as the primary Manila contact for external auditors
• Identify and lead process improvements across finance operations and controls

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
• 5+ years in accounting or finance operations
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
• Solid hands-on experience with BIR filings, SEC reporting, and statutory remittances

Preferred:

• CPA licensed
• Experience supporting an Australian finance team or business
• Experience in accounting for retail businesses
• Background in shared services or cross-border finance
• NetSuite or equivalent ERP experience
