Job summary

Quantum Clubhouse is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Officer to oversee accounting, payroll, budgeting and financial reporting. You will ensure accurate records, timely payroll, and compliance with local regulations while providing insights for business decisions.

The role requires 3 years of finance experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You will interact with auditors and support annual budgets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, and payroll.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, payroll processes, and government statutory compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, Data Validation, and basic financial modeling.
  • Experience with accounting software is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
  • Monitor daily financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and government agencies during audits.
  • Process payroll accurately and on time.
  • Compute salaries, overtime, deductions, and statutory contributions.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll-related government regulations.
  • Maintain employee payroll records and resolve payroll concerns.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor budget utilization and identify variances.
  • Prepare financial analyses and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
  • Support management in financial planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare and submit government reports related to BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and payroll information.
  • Prepare financial presentations and management reports.
  • Recommend improvements to financial processes and internal controls.
  • Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.
