Job summary

Vena Group is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting department's daily operations and ensure accurate, compliant financial reporting. The role supports strategic decision-making by delivering timely insights and maintaining robust internal controls.

You will supervise staff, manage month-end to year-end closes, and coordinate with outsourced partners while driving process improvements and regulatory compliance across regional finance functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy; CPA preferred (tax background is an advantage).
• 7+ years of accounting experience in infrastructure, energy, or transportation sectors.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving capability, high attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven expertise in financial systems oversight, financial close, daily accounting operations, and managing deliverables from outsourced service providers.
• Proficient in IFRS for preparation of financial statements and reports; experience with NAV, Anaplan, SharePoint, and other accounting tools.
• Strong communication skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and related applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the accounting department to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting.
• Supervise and manage accounting staff; delegate tasks and review work.
• Close monthly, quarterly, and year-end financials for projects/entities including tax review.
• Provide documentation for bank and government compliance reporting.
• Support process improvements and new accounting/tax procedures as needed.
• Coordinate with outsourced providers and regional controlling teams.
