Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) an advantage but not required
- At least 5 years experience in Accounting Manager or similar leadership role
- Knowledge of BIR compliance (VAT, WHT, Income Tax, and related filings)
- Experience in handling audits and government reportorial requirements
- Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Can start as soon as possible
- Willing to work onsite in Cebu City
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with all BIR regulations, including accurate and timely filing of tax returns (VAT, WHT, ITR, Annual Reports, etc.)
- Prepare, review, and maintain supporting schedules, inventory records, and statutory documentation
- Oversee and manage all PEZA reporting requirements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual submissions
- Develop and monitor PEZA performance reports, incentive documentation, and compliance timelines
- Coordinate and liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records
- Supervise accounting staff, ensuring proper workflow, accuracy, and deadline compliance
- Recommend process improvements to strengthen internal controls and reporting efficiency
