Job summary

A company in the Education and Training industry is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager based in Cebu City. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 5 years of experience managing similar responsibilities. You will ensure compliance with BIR regulations, oversee PEZA reporting, and liaise with auditors. The position offers a performance-based bonus and other benefits including health insurance. Work is Monday to Friday with potential for regularization depending on performance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

JOB REQUIREMENTS

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure complete compliance with all BIR regulations and timely filing of required tax returns (VAT, WHT, ITR, annual reports, etc.).
• Prepare and maintain supporting schedules, inventory records, and all required statutory documents.
• Oversee and fulfill all PEZA reporting requirements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual submissions.
• Develop PEZA performance reports, incentive-related documentation, and compliance timelines.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure accurate, complete, and well-organized documentation.
