Job summary

Guild Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Finance Manager in the Philippines to lead the company’s finance and accounting operations. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • CPA license required.
  • At least five years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, audit, compliance, or related roles.
  • Proven managerial experience leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax compliance, internal controls, and governance.
  • Experience managing audits, regulatory compliance, and statutory reporting.
  • Proficiency in Xero and/or other accounting systems.
  • Advanced MS Excel and Office skills.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and people-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Finance Manager is responsible for leading the organization's finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, effective internal controls, and operational efficiency. This role directly reports to the Head of Finance and Accounting Services and oversees accounting, treasury, financial reporting, reconciliations, tax and statutory compliance, audit coordination, and financial governance while maintaining the integrity of financial data and processes. The Finance Manager partners with leadership, business stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory agencies to support business decision-making, manage financial risks, drive compliance, and implement process improvements that strengthen controls and enhance organizational performance.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management & Reporting
  • Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger management, treasury, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure the integrity of financial records and transactions.
  • Maintain effective financial controls, processes, and documentation to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Compliance, Governance & Audit
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and other regulatory obligations.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns, regulatory filings, and statutory reports on time.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls, financial policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, serve as the primary liaison with auditors, and implement corrective actions arising from audit findings.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and support finance-related risk management initiatives.
Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Prepare financial analyses, management reports, dashboards, and performance insights.
  • Monitor financial performance, conduct variance analysis, and identify risks, trends, and opportunities.
  • Recommend initiatives that improve financial performance, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.
Stakeholder Management
  • Partner with leaders and department heads to provide financial guidance and support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on financial reporting, consolidation, compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Present financial results, compliance updates, and key insights to leadership.
Team Leadership & Operational Excellence
  • Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members while managing team priorities and resources.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive process improvement, standardization, automation, and enhancements to financial systems, controls, and reporting processes.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
  • At least five (5) years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, audit, compliance, or related functions.
  • Proven managerial experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, tax compliance, internal controls, and financial governance.
  • Experience managing audits, regulatory compliance, statutory reporting, and government filing requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and business partnering skills.
  • Experience driving process improvement, compliance initiatives, and operational excellence programs.
  • Proficiency in Xero and/or other accounting systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, mentoring, and people management capabilities.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
