Job summary

Dijitally is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to own the full finance function across Roomstay and Dijitally from the Philippines, aligned to AEST business hours. This role goes beyond reporting, delivering structure, control, and actionable financial insight to leadership.

You will manage end-to-end finance operations, multi-entity/multi-currency accounting in Xero, payroll for an international team, and monthly decision-focused reporting with cashflow forecasting and profitability analysis.

Qualifications

• CA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent certification.
• 5+ years in Finance Manager/Financial Controller role.
• Experience with multi-entity structures and multi-currency environments.
• Hands-on mindset with ability to execute and oversee.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end finance across two businesses.
• Invoicing, payroll, reconciliations, and intercompany finance across entities.
• Produce monthly management reports with key drivers and cashflow forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with BAS/GST/PAYG and statutory obligations.

Roomstay (SaaS) and Dijitally (agency) operate across Australia, the UK, and Ireland with multi-entity, multi-currency finance operations. We are hiring a hands-on Finance Manager to take full ownership of the finance function across both businesses, based in Philippines and working business hours on AEST.

This role is suited to a commercially minded accountant who can run finance operations end-to-end, improve structure, and provide clear financial insight to leadership. This is not a traditional finance role focused only on reporting - this role is responsible for bringing control, structure, and visibility to the entire finance function.

Core Responsibilities

• End-to-End Finance Ownership
• Take full ownership of finance operations across both businesses
• Manage and execute:
• Invoicing across multiple entities
• Bank and card reconciliations
• Accounts receivable and collections
• Supplier payments and payment runs
• Maintain accurate, clean, and up-to-date records in Xero
• Manage multi-entity and multi-currency transactions (including FX platforms such as Airwallex or equivalent)
• Payroll & Compliance
• Oversee payroll for an international team
• Ensure compliance with:
• BAS / GST / PAYG obligations
• Payroll and statutory requirements
• Coordinate with external accountants for filings and statutory reporting
• Monthly Reporting (Decision-Focused)
• Produce management reporting pack including:
• Revenue by entity and key drivers
• Gross margin (particularly for agency delivery)
• Operating costs and profitability
• Cash position and movement
• Ensure reporting is:
• Clear
• Structured
• Decision-ready (not just accounting outputs)
• Cashflow & Forecasting
• Build and maintain a rolling cashflow forecasts
• Provide visibility on:
• Expected inflows and outflows
• Cash risks and constraints

• Act as a finance partner to the founder:
• Identify client / project profitability
• Track SaaS revenue performance
• Highlight margin leakage and cost inefficiencies
• Provide proactive insight, not just reporting
• Process & Control
• Design and implement structured finance processes across both businesses
• Improve efficiency and reduce manual work
• Ensure consistency across multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions
• Introduce clear ownership and accountability across finance activities

Finance Ownership & Operating Model

This role is accountable for owning and structuring the entire finance function.

The Successful Candidate Will

• Take full ownership of invoicing, payroll, and financial operations end-to-end
• Remove reliance on founder involvement in day-to-day finance processes
• Replace meeting-driven workflows with structured, system-led processes
• Establish clear ownership between account management and finance teams
• Ensure invoicing, collections, and payroll operate consistently without manual coordination
• Identify inefficiencies and redesign workflows to improve speed, accuracy, and control

Cross-Team Workflow Ownership

• Own the interface between account management and finance
• Ensure revenue inputs from delivery teams are accurate, timely, and structured
• Remove reliance on meetings to validate invoicing inputs
• Implement clear, repeatable workflows for billing and revenue recognition

The Skills And Experience We're Looking For Are

• Qualified accountant (CA / ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• 5+ years' experience in Finance Manager / Financial Controller role
• Strong experience with Xero
• Experience working across multi-entity structures and multi-currency environments
• Hands-on mindset (comfortable executing as well as overseeing)
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets capability

Highly Desirable

• Experience in agency / services businesses
• Experience in SaaS or subscription-based revenue models
• Experience managing offshore or outsourced finance support
• Familiarity with Airwallex, Wise, or FX platforms

Working Setup

This is a part-time role, working 2-3 days per week in a fully remote environment, reporting to the founder.
