The Back Room Offshoring Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager based in the Philippines to lead cashflow, debtor management, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance for a NZ FMCG distributor. You will work with the MD and leadership to provide clear financial insights and ensure strong controls.
Open to Philippine citizens located in the Philippines; candidate should have strong English communication, Excel skills, and proficiency in Xero or similar systems.

Our client is an FMCG distribution business based in New Zealand, supplying trusted international brands across the Pacific Islands. They are looking to build their offshore team to support their accounting function, with a focus on maintaining strong financial controls, accurate reporting, and effective day-to-day financial management. This role exists to provide the financial oversight and reporting needed to support sound business decisions across the organization.
As an Accounting Manager, you'll take ownership of key financial management activities, including cashflow, debtors and collections, month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory compliance. You'll work closely with the Managing Director and wider leadership team to provide clear financial insights, identify risks early, and support informed business decisions. Success in this role means maintaining strong financial controls, delivering accurate reporting on time, and proactively managing the company's financial position.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a broad and commercially important accounting function within an established New Zealand FMCG distributor with a strong presence across the Pacific Islands. You'll work closely with senior leadership, have meaningful influence over financial decision-making, and play a key role in strengthening the company's financial visibility and controls as the offshore team grows.
