• Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
• Advanced MS Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Experience in managing accounting teams and staff development.
• Solid understanding of tax compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Desirable: experience in real estate or property development.

About the role

Tambo Realty Corporation is seeking a Finance Manager to join our financial management team in Paranaque City, Metro Manila on a full-time basis. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organisation, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with accounting standards. The Finance Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the company's financial health and strategic decision-making through comprehensive financial analysis and management.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for Reoperations. Analyze financial performance vs. budgets and suggest corrective actions. Monitor revenue streams, cost controls, and profitability metrics.
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll. Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end financial closings. Prepare financial statements in compliance with local regulations and accounting standards
• Monitor and manage hotel cash flow and working capital. Ensure sufficient liquidity to support operations and capital projects and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets. Ensure compliance with tax laws, hotel licensing, and corporate financial policies. Coordinate with auditors (internal and external) during audits.
• Review departmental expenditures and suggest cost-saving initiatives. Support procurement by evaluating supplier contracts and cost efficiency and collaborate with department heads to optimize financial performance.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions (e.g., pricing, expansion, investment).

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CA (Chartered Accountant), or equivalent recognised credential
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in financial management or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Proficiency in financial accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Experience in managing accounting teams and developing staff capabilities
• Strong understanding of tax compliance and regulatory reporting requirements
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional initiatives
• Experience in the real estate or property development sector is highly desirable
